29 to 31 January 2027 · ExpectedMarrakech, Morocco

Marrakech Marathon takes runners a few hours and spectators all day. This guide gives supporters cheer points they can reach by public transport, plans the expo day and race eve around tired legs, and fills the recovery day in Marrakech.

Know before you go

Airport to Start and finish: Avenue de la Ménara

Marrakech Menara (RAK) is 6 km from the Medina, 15 to 20 minutes by car. Bus 19 runs to Jemaa el-Fnaa and Gueliz for about 30 dirhams. Taxis ask 150 to 200 dirhams; most riads offer pickups, which helps because cars cannot reach many riad doors.

The flat loop runs through the Palmeraie and around the ramparts.
