About Event Weekends

Event organisers write about tickets and registration. Nobody writes about the rest of the trip: the free morning before qualifying, the day after the marathon, the parents waiting between youth matches, the evenings after a trade show.

Event Weekends has one page per big event, built around one question: what do we do between sessions? Every page covers the airport to the venue, where to stay by budget, day plans for the free hours, family picks, evening and weekend tours, rainy-day backups and getting around on event days.

How dates work

Each event stores its announced dates and the pattern it usually follows. When the organiser has not announced the next edition, we show the expected date from the pattern and mark it "expected". Always check the official site before you book anything non-refundable.
